Model 641/PR is recommended for winding of plastic material that should not be stretched. It can be used for all types of cores and for multiple reels. The body of the shaft is available either on light alloy or on steel, and expandors are usually in rubber, to grant the perfect core gripping. The journal ends are also available in a variety of steels and are always custom-made; as they are mounted on roller bearings and connected through a passing bar, they rotate simultaneously and grant therefore a uniform winding.
